    The staff were really good to make our visit nice, even

    Sending a surprise bottle of champagne to our room for our anniversary. The location was ideal for enjoying the local theatres, though I did wish for a bit more variety at breakfast.

    The location is excellent, walking distance to Bourke Street Mall, close to trams, close to mcg, Chinatown just down the road. Our room was a corner superior room with kitchenette, very spacious, so we had plenty of room to spread out. The hotel is small, so we felt as if we were "coming home" at the end of our busy days.

    Excellent location, close to theatre, public transport and plenty of food options. Relatively quiet, bit of noise outside on Saturday night but you expect that. Inside the hotel it was lovely and quiet.

    The staff were friendly and helpful.

    I was really disappointed with the soundproofing of the room. Being above street level, the noise was unbearable. We could hear everything from our neighbors' conversations to city traffic. The gym facilities were subpar, barely offering any equipment, and the bathroom door malfunctioned continuously, hitting the toilet. It was annoying to deal with these issues throughout my stay.
